I’ll be teaching a workshop on Saturday, September 19th about sketching glaciers.

Rivers of Ice: Sketching Valley Glaciers with Kristin Link: What is a glacier? How does it move and change over time? Get to know these unique bodies of frozen water and learn to document them in your nature journal. We will take multiple approaches: zooming in, zooming out, and zooming under the surface to create diagrams and watercolor sketches. As we draw and paint, we will also explore some current research on the Kennicott Glacier in Alaska.
